Is anyone else experiencing this? Do you need more information? Any help would be appreciated. I have made sure to run oalinst.exe and installed openAL.ĪPP: SDL setting inital video mode succed.ĪPP: GameContainer: initializing MPQ's completed.ĪPP: GameContainer: initializing Mixer instance.ĪPP: GameContainer: initializing Mixer instance completed.ĪPP: GameContainer: initializing ImageLoader instance.ĪPP: GameContainer: initializing ImageLoader completed.ĪPP: GameContainer: initializing GameScreen controller. I have tried with the physical CD in the drive as well as copying diabdat.mpq into the root folder I have also tried installing the game to a non-protected folder (outside of program files) and running the game as administrator with the same results.the game crashes with 1.04 installed but continues to run fine with 1.033b I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling Diablo and copying the 1.04 files over to a fresh install. Reverting back to the 1.033b version fixes the problem and the game runs fine again. I just installed the 1.04 version and now the game crashes as soon as I try to start it.
